As soon as we sailed over the border to Thailand, we found the characteristic mountain peaks sticking up of the water. We also found small beautiful islands with sandy beaches and nice bathing. Fishing did not give us much, but when a fisherman drove by we could buy fresh scrimps or fish over the side. With family onboard we cruised around the bay between Phuket Island and the mainland – and we celebrated Christmas and New Years! Happy New Year!

Eirik and uncle Øyvind quickly became very good friends.
Santa Claus visited also this Christmas - with surprises for everyone onboard. Christmas Eve all the Scandinavian sailors we knew in the area were invited onbord for Christmas poridge. The Christmas moose was charming everybody.
